1.    It was located in the Old Smithy building on Speke Church Road until  the early 60's

3.    "Sally" used to sell fresh sea fish.
4.    "Routes". (I think that's how it's spelled) The aircraft factory.
5.    "Sutton"...They assisted a lot of young boys and girls in the Speke area.
6.    The tyre section at Dunlop Rubber Company. At one time or        another most of Speke worked at Dunlop.
7.    The Dam Woods .....spent many happy hours playing there when I was a kid in the 1940's

20.  John Francis Ottiwell Skelton Graham was the Vicar at All Saints Church during the 1950's
21.  Berties was a grocery shop located at the end of Western Avenue
22.  Nursalls was the only newsagents shop in Speke during the 1940's and it  was located in front of where the Crescent  shops are now. There was always a queue there every Sunday morning, for the Sunday papers.
23.  The first post office was located in Nursalls Newsagents.
