Liverpool
Memories
I
am putting together a section, on this site, allowing anyone with memories
of Liverpool, to have their own free page on the site. It costs you nothing
and I am sure many Liverpudlians would love to hear about the early days
of Liverpool. If you wish, you may also include pictures on your free
page. I will do all the webwork for you so just get in touch through my
email address ........ earlgroup2002@yahoo.ca
We will constantly be adding
photograph galleries to the site over the coming months. If you have copies
of early Liverpool school pictures, or indeed any Liverpool school pictures,
we would like to hear from you, especially if you would like to include
your pictures on our site.
Also, if you would like to see a particular area of Liverpool please let
us know
and we will try our best to include that area in the site.
A father
was reading Bible stories to his young son. He read: "The
man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of
the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt."
His son asked: "What happened to the flea?"

The groups of Liverpool
at St. Georges Plateau in the 60's
( Do you know any of them? )
Going
to bed the other night, I noticed people in my shed stealing
things. I phoned the police but was told that no one was available
to service my request for help. They said they would send someone
over as soon as possible.
I hung
up. A minute later I rang them again. "Hello, I said I
called you a minute ago because there were people in my shed.
You don't have to hurry now because I've shot them"
Within
minutes there were half a dozen police cars in the area plus
helicopters and an armed response unit. They caught the burglars
red handed.
One of
the officers said, "I thought you said you had shot them".
To which I replied, "I thought you said there was no one
available"
